In 2016, KPN decided to move its head office functions from The Hague to the "KPN Toren op Zuid" on the Wilhelminapier in Rotterdam. This building by architect Renzo Piano is located right next to the Erasmus Bridge and is known for its sloping facade. KPN's wish is to add a substantially publicly accessible program and at the same time set up all work and consultation areas according to KPN's SMART technology.
